Evolve, Human, Please, is a plea. dré fuzz uses form and colour to represent two extremes, fluid and rigid. This binary serves as a metaphor for the sociological thought patterns that define and maintain social structures. dré treats rigidity as the antagonist for social cohesion and harmony within humanity, and alternatively proposes conversation between diverse groups in order to overcome social division and segregation. dré’s semi-3D ceramic wall sculptures create a rare intersection between challenging social commentary, deep symbolism, and bursts of playful colour and animated compositions.
